Bugreport for Nokia Easy Meet

Blank Sceen for c.10-20 seconds

Just registered and downloaded Easy Meet and found when I use the widget to connect to Easy Meet there is a perion of 10-20 seconds where my phone screen is justed the theme background and the pointer can be moved aruond the screen, but no info or bottom soft button banner. A little worrying at the time, but then the Easy Meet site appears. maybe some sort of progress screen could show during this period so as to let the use know there phone has not crashed, or is not crashing.

As you say the progress should appear earlier

There is a a progress icon.
However, script loading is pushing this out later.
We've been experimenting with some ways to make the progress appear earlier and a solution will be pushed out with next update.

The widget works fine on my

The widget works fine on my N82.

When starting a new conference the widgets forwards to the normal browser and searches again for internet connections. This takes only a few seconds.

But i also have to confimr that the first two times I started the widget it didn't work properly and hung up but then after the third time everythings perfect without problems.

To install the widget I had to copy it manually to my phone and the installed it. The installation with PC Suite didn't function. The widget is a great idea in addition to the mobile website!

Did you have to do the manual copy for both the N95 and N82 or just the N82?

In general, widgets have a much more simpler install model; consistent with the web model - click, download, install. If the last step is not to prompt you to install but to save, then the widget engine is not available on your phone.

The Easy Meet widget is built with Web Runtime 1.0. A check of the following page (under browser & flash) for your device will reveal also if Web Runtime is available. In the case of your N82, it is only for sw version 20.0.062 onwards which yours is. Let me know if the clicking from the phone browser did not work.

Wdget installations should be far easier compared to native applications.

Widget Install on the N95 8Gb

I was able to install the widget directly from teh website through my default phone browser on my N95 8Gb.

i downloaded the file to my

i downloaded the file to my computer then wanted to install it with PC suite. The file was transferded to the mobile (directory widget) but then nothing more happened. I instaled it the by clicking on the file in the directory with a file browser program.
