One click uploads are Awesome!
I have not used Share Online much before, just occasionally uploaded a few of the shots to Ovi Share & Flickr just to use it. Never felt the need to use it, when i could conviniently upload multiple shots from the computer.
But due to the increased beta testing & twittering i do now a days, i need to share screenshots of the phone with the developers quickly. And i found that MobyPicture supports Share Online, so i installed the MobyPicture settings in Share Online. And now, Screenshots + Share Online + MobyPicture + Gravity makes it really easy to take screenshots and quickly upload and share it with the other testers & developers
It was only recenlty that i discovered the one click uploads directly via the Photos app. Was it there in the previous builds too?
Also, the ability to remove it from the Active Standby screen is huge! We want a uncluttered standby.
I am holding out on the 5th star for the lack of services in Share Online.
First of all, stop blocking the use of Ovi Share & Flick in India. Completely insane move guys. What the deal here, There no money involved, all the services in question are free. I don't think there might be any legal hurdles too. Its really purplexing. Not that we can't set it up manually, i have set up Ovi Share manually by installing the configuration file. But flickr still won't work :(
But these are just two of the services. To really make a mark, Share Online really needs to start supporting unconvetional photo sharing sites, like Facebook. APIs are available. It would take you guys just a few hours to create the configuration files. And if you guys don't want to do it, then allow the services to create the configuration files and you guys store them all at the central location from where the user can install the ones he wants.
4 / 5 from me for now.
