Suggestion for Here and now

What about some sort of deal with Lonely Planet or something like that to use this as a springboard for a location based travel guide. I know Maps does something with travel guides through the maps interface but this is somewhat limited from my experience. Maybe it would work better from this.

Maybe also a link between this app and Nokia Maps, such that if this informs you of an event or something local you could have the option to open Nokia Maps fomr this app and be given directions from your current location.

Further enhancement for further in the future could be local bus times, route information, etc.

@dubbieire: I hope that we will get local providers on board as well. Our content sourcing is on the case, but these things seem to take their time.

just for the san fracisco area so for, but growing.
Its for iphone only now.
It came across from promotors while i was clubbing in the city.

it cant be a coincident that the weather and events view in the new nokia maps looks almost identical to the the here and now app runing on my n95. I would ofcourse still like to see here and now as a homescren widget on my n97 though.
