Tue, 2009-05-26 23:37 navio1973: error reports of the maps has to be reported here?

Do The bugs of the maps have to be reported here?
I mean if I see on the map there a wrong name of a street or a wrong position of a POI, etc
Navio

Edit: changed the subject as request by mbrett. I hope that now it confuses no more the people.

I'll try tonight and post if this is a repeatable issue on other PCs.

Wed, 2009-07-01 23:04 SydneyBlue120d: You must report to Navteq site

To inform Navteq (ovi maps provider, a wholly Nokia owned company) of errors, missing strett and stuff like that You need to use this site:

http://mapreporter.navteq.com/

You can even track the bug report until it is resolved if You register on the site.

Mon, 2009-07-06 13:21 brianb: Confused!

I have been unsuccessful in loading Beta Maps 3 to my N82, the labs now tell me it has graduated to Ovi maps 3 but when I follow the links and downloads I still have version 2 on my device. There are seperate loader, updater and another version within the nokia pc suite and Ovi? Can you provide a guide to navigating a way through this mess so that we end up with current version of software on both pc and device and which removes redundant software from both? Thanks

Any chance you can edit the intial post heading as I think it confuses some.

I think some think it is more of a statement than a question.

ie. They think they must post Bogs here.

Mon, 2009-07-06 13:58 mbrett: @brianb: RE:Confused

You need to do the following:

Do you have Nokia PC Suite or OVI Suite installed on your PC?
If not, for PC Suite go to
http://www.nokia.co.uk/get-support-and-software/download-software/main/d...
or for OVI Suite go to
http://www.ovi.com/services/support/subpage?id=guid-f3a68468-c1e9-11dd-a...

Point your web browser to:
http://www.nokia.com/maps

Click on "Download Maps"
This should point you to:
http://europe.nokia.com/explore-services/maps/download
Follow the onscreen instructions

Now, to get Map Loader, which you can download and update Map Data and Voice Navigation Files go to:
http://europe.nokia.com/explore-services/maps/download/map-loader
Follow the onscreen instructions

Hope this helps somewhat. If you haev any more questions or clarification do not hesitate to ask. Should ask in the OVI Maps client room in the Graduated area though:
