1. Screen freezes when locking and unlocking the screen quickly
This happens with touch devices (5800 and N97) having the screen lock slide key. To recover, please lock the screen again, wait for more than 3 seconds, and then unlock the screen. The touch screen should start responding your finger.
2. Rotating image 180 degrees causes magnifier zoom to behave strangely
We confirmed it happens. This is a pure bug.
3. Menu design could have been better
Yes, it is a boring text only menu that always shows in landscape. We admit it is a compromise. We wanted to experiment such function as send, rotate, delete, and folder view. And our conclusion was that we need a menu to make them accessible. At the same time, we knew it takes time to develop a new and satisfactory menu system. We took our priority and decided to make a release with sub-optimal menu design.
4. No support for non-Nokia device
I'm afraid we cannot provide a support for non-Nokia device. Even for Nokia devices, we are limiting the models -- nowadays focusing more on touch devices. This is due to NPB being an experiment rather than a beta for the software that is intended to be made an offering later on. Our purpose is to explore how we can create joy for photo browsing on mobile phone.
