Suggestion for Nokia Point and Find

For this to really take off.. I'd open it up a little more. allow 20 uploads for free, charge after that. Possibly charge for the amount of items have in their world. The bigger the company, the more items they might have, the more money you'll make.

People will be more likely to submit when they see it actually work with a decent amount of information in the db. Making initial submissions in for free will allow it to be tested and show the possibilities.

allow some categories for free:
CD cover art (someone wants to buy a cd, just point camera at CD cover art or barcode)
Scientific/Encyclopedic info (Leaf identification, constellations, etc.)

Talking about uploads.. what would be the incentive or reward for end users to tag something anyway? Currently no options to add info to tags or modify/change them.
I see great potential, just the options and business model needs to be cleared.

Hi there, and thank you for your good comments. Yes, we realize there isn't a whole lot of incentive for people who would like to tag at the moment... Please stay tuned, it's a matter of priorities as usual, but we are aware there's room for improvement here.
