I would really appreciate synchronising with thunderbird or other open source email/pim clients. Nokia is the only reason for me to use windows/outlook.

i'm just reading up on upgrading to windows 7 and it seems because of the European Commission, windows 7 won't have a browser or mail client due to anti-competitive behaviour. users will have to download there own choice for these programs. my first choice mail client would be thunderbird, but as nokia still (after all these years of being asked) only support Microsoft mail clients, means i am forced to use Microsoft. this has to change with the launch of windows 7? i wonder what the European Commission, would think about nokia software forcing its users to use Microsoft applications?
