Thanks grisu70 for your suggestion. How would you like the backup work? Would you like to have your backup in ovi.com or would you like to have just a local backup in USB hard disk etc?
What content you would like to get in backup? With music, photos and videos backup might quickly pretty large.

Hi,
the important things to backup for me are messages..
With nokia lifeblog and then Nokia photos (unfortunately as lifeblog was better) i manage to save more than 11000 sms/mms and photos..
i wuold prefer a local backup, but could be great also the ovi.com solution (if it is free)

@saylinen
I already have sync set up between ovi.com and my phone. It works so-and-so, in particular it only syncs contact photos on the initial sync, and never after that.
I don't see why Ovi Suite isn't connected to Ovi.com in any meaningful way. What I'd consider logical would be for Ovi Suite to stay synchronized with Ovi.com, so that I can edit contacts and my calendar even when I'm not home, and choose whether to sync those changes to my phone via my PC or over the air. Right now, the Ovi Suite is only complicating things for me, since I have to pick one or the other and then stick exclusively to that... Considering that neither works very well, this is quite frustrating.
i prefer a local back up. Besides ovi sync does not support the full calander options yet.
