Is the new version's cache using more memory on the device?

Hello :)
After updating to the 15.6.09 version (I have deleted the old version before) I found that 1-2 Mb where missing on device's memory.
Is the cache using more memory for better performances than the previous version? Where in the directory is the cache stored? Why not store the cache on the external memory?
Otherwise this application is excellent!

I'm not sure what do you mean by caching. Do you mean that in your device C drive has less free space than earlier?
In fact Photo Browser is caching more images to memory(RAM), but it is not affecting to free space in C drive or memory card.
