Suggestion for Nokia Step Counter

Step counter web service / part of sportstracker

Step counter is great, and so is sportstracker - it seems obvious that many people would like to post their progress on a web service - the 1.2m people who use iPod/Nike+ can't be wrong, it should be social, competitive and fun.

If Nokia aren't going to provide these services, maybe they should open them up to the user community to start coding before the iPhone/Android/Pre take over as a predominant platform. These apps are a major competitive advantage that Nokia don't seem to recognise.

Nokia is losing strength to alternative platforms... Come on

I agree Neilp, it is loosing ground, I don't know whether to use my
- iPhone with iBike
- Map My Ride with my Tytn2
- Sports tracker with my N79 (which I had to buy to get the HRM)

Nokia is really starting to annoy me

Sports Tracker is already planned to leave Nokia

Sports Tracker is already planned to leave Nokia towards the end of the year. It will be managed by a new company called Sports Tracking Technologies, run by the two main guys reponsible for Sports Tracker.
