Bugreport for Ovi Contacts

Ovi Contacts will not run on E71x S60 3rd FP2 firmware V03.27

I was able to successfully install Ovi Contacts on my new E71x from AT&T (from web page), but the app will not run. Upon attempted execution the phone display blinks and that's it. Bug occurs every time.

I uninstalled and reinstalled once but the problem persists.

I was also under the impression that a new tab would be added to the default Contacts app for Ovi Contacts, but this did not occur. Perhaps the instructions were incorrect/unclear or this could be another issue.

I've had the same problem

I've had the same problem and been unable to find a solution and there seems to be no help being posted here either.

Same here on E71 (E71-2)

Ive managed to install both components sucessfully, but when i try to run the Contacts app, it just do nothing.. as if it just where a dummy icon on the app dir.

Firmware version: 200.21.118
Note: that its the latest firmware version for my product code.

Done after a full reset

Ive done a full reset of my cellphone, then ive installed again the webservices component and "Contacts" app, and things are running very well... :)

After hardware reset it's still not working on E71X v03.28 type

Can you explain please how you able to works this soft.
