Dear all,
I am the lead developer of MobileKnox and we from MobileKnox experienced random crashes of MobileKnox running on N97 and 5800. Unfortunately, we were not able to nail down the reason what causes the crashes. It looks like that it is somehow related to RecordStore write operations. However, sometimes the code that invokes write operations runs without any problem, the next time it crashes. We debugged our code for days, but we could not come up with a code snipplet that could be used as proof for the problems.

Any help is appreciated.

Hello thking,

Is it possible to get the MIDlet for testing? I actually downloaded MobileKnox.jar from your web site, is it the correct version for trying to reproduce the error? Could you tell me any more details about the crashes? Can you share any source code? Did you install the MIDlet after updating the JRT or did you have the MIDlet there before updating it?

We have tried to reproduce this error with the trial version available on your homepage without success.

There is an updated Java runtime available now that has few RMS related changes that could have solved this issue.

Could you try this with the updated beta package?
If the problem still exists could you give more information how to reproduce this error or contact Jarmo or me (juha.kukkonen@nokia.com) directly?
