I have a new SIM card and the license transfer don't work. Why is that? Why i can´t use my license with my new SIM card?

I don't know if this is a bug or a desing decision, but I had my SIMcard in the n95 when I bought city explorer, then I bought this 5800 and moved the SIMcard, but the license didn't move.

Ok, but you changed the phone and i am using the same phone. the license should be on the phone right? For me to make sense it doesn't matter witch card brought the license.
However if that's a design why option to transfer license appears on screen and fails?

On Ovi Maps 3.0 and Nokia Maps 2.0 I had purchased the traffic update license. However, on Ovi Maps beta it doesn't seem to detect this license or make it available for purchase/extension.

@Nandeco: do you have more than one device? If the licenses have been transferred already to another device, they can not be transferred to another SIM card. If you want to change both SIM card and the device you need to contact Nokia Care.

@Speedgrapher: City explorer license is valid for the lifetime of the device, so it is bound to the device which was used buy it.

@akuska: old Maps 2.0 licenses should be updated to Maps 3.0 licenses either during the update if it is done with Nokia Maps Updater, or if installed from .sis, when you start using Maps 3.0. Have you tried updating your licenses? To update licenses select Account > Shop & licenses > My licenses > Update.

have vers 3.019 on nokia 5800. I have purchased the traffic licence which installed ok and updated traffic ok first timt.
Now however when i update it reports it has updated, but the informion is not update it remains 2 days old. I have tried clearing the info which it does, but after asking for an update the old info returns.

I purchased Nokia E75 sometime in June. Since the beginning my free maps license doesn't work. I have even updated my maps to Ovi 3. (Initially I had Nokia Maps v2) When I try to update the license, it tells me that "No Products Available". I tried calling the Customer Care in USA thrice and still they are not able to sove the issue. Can you please help me out ?

Although I have purchased the city explorer license and I see the "weather forecast" option, yet, No matter where in the world I try the "Show Details" I get no information from "Lonely Planet" or "Wcities" or even the weather. (These are supposed to come with the license). I have tried it on LONDON, PARIS,ROME,... with no success!
I have the latest version of the map (0.1.22.13) and application (v3.01 09 wk26 b02) and my phone is Nokia E90.
Also, there is no voice for walking navigation .It is just the vibrator running on each turn!!!
I am in China with China Mobile as my carrier.

I had my N97 phone replaced yesterday due to technical problem. I tried to insert the license code for the City explorer which I purchased a week ago for my previous phone. However, when i enter the code, I'm requested to do so twice and then when I go to my licenses, the license doesn't show.

Im trying to get my head around this one.........I'm currently using Garmin XT V5.00.06....it works very well on my N97, and has free traffic info.

I'd be more than happy to be involved in the beta for Ovi Maps3.x, but as I understand it, I will have to buy a licence to use drive? For a Beta? In other words, I have to pay to test your software?
