Folder view will be more user-freindly and more well-arranged

Hi there!

First of all, Nokia Photo Browser is a very well app! I like using it on my N97.

My wishes for the next version(s) are:

1.) Please enable folder viewing. I want to select single foldercontent as it is saved on the memory. I will never understand, why ALL pictures on the phone should be shown AT ONCE. It's either user-freindly nor well arranged at all, if you've got 1000 pics and more.

For example, I have a folder with pics from the last holiday and a folder of the current job project. I do not want to have all pics shown togehter. I want to select the folder first and then only the oics in this folder should be visible, since my boss has not to see my private pics...

2.) Marking of multiple pics would be greate for uploading them to ovi or flickr...

I agree!
Folder view would lighten the load on the memory as well.
No need to load preview of thousands of pictures at the same time, when you can just show the part that the user wanted.

Multiple selection is also a great suggestion. would immensely help with organizing/arranging files. Which is a must, since considering the 8 GB+ storage space that came with newer models.

I would also suggest that Photo browser should enable the user to select which file type to exclude from showing, or chose not to load certain folders when starting. This would also help since it isn't hiding files/folders from the system. Just make it less of a mess when viewing.

And since you're moving on to 3D plane of navigating, why not take it up a notch and 'fold' the preview plane into pages? That would even make it more faster to load folder with thousands of pictures or more. (What? you think that wouldn't happen? Sir, you overestimate our stupidity!)
Loading Pages of pictures at a time, I think is the way to go. Simple navigation, elegant and effective. Putting a number(01/xx or like it.) in the bottom right to show how far you are in the pages, helps too.

Folder view in tabs that once click on 'unfold' onto the screen is nice'. The top right of the screen can be mark with a folder icon, or the likes that when pressed, navigates back up to the 'upper' levels.

There are other suggestions, but I'll leave it for further versions.

Hope that Beta labs take these suggestion seriously. Folder view is being missed by 90% of us already. Why do you think a lot of us are crying out for a newer image viewer and music player?
Lack of organize file handling HURTs.

PS, The choice to chose Photo Browser in the starting app on the 5800 express key is also welcome. But that is phone specific, lets not talk about it here. :D

I also don't like the fact that all images are shown. Folder view would be great!
I don't need my boss to see all the pictures I took the last weekend, just because I want to show him something I photographed at the last business meeting... :)

One quick fix

If mark folder as hidden (e.g. using Y-browser) can hide subfolders.
Not very convenient but something at least.
