I was using the application without the Email notification option on the home screen. The lack of visual notification is HORRID! Although you can use Messaging in sync with the homescreen email notification kudos for that! but only for one account :(
The application is mostly stable but has crashed on me a few times! i can't accurately tel you why.
Overall i love the application
If you are using Nokia Messaging on an N97 keep an eye on your C: drive as it will slowly use up your free space a few KB at a time. I now re-install every week or two to reclaim 1MB or more each time.
