The N97 hardware keyboard is in SYM mode all the time (types numbers and symbols only) when typing in NS Reisplanner Xtra, or Opera Mobile 5.0 beta. This on N97 v12.0.24. Now this isnt so much a problem for Opera since it has a softkeyboard, but the NS software hasnt.
--Just found out that shift-typing works, though all i get is caps.

We are aware of this issue and will fix it to the next release.

There is no other workaround than shift-typing.
