Suggestion for Sports Tracker

The ability to continue the last workout after the phone lost his power

It would be nice if we had the ability to continue the last workout after the phone lost his power.

Most of my workouts are taking more than 6 hours and my battery lost the power just after 4 hours. I have a spare battery and it would be nice to continue the last workout .

One of my wishes too

Recovering last workout is nice, but there should be an option to continue that workout.

Definitely! Core functionality!

Fact 1: GPS usage greatly reduces battery life
Fact 2: You're likely (or I am at least ;-) ) to only use sports tracker for your more "epic" trips - really long runs, rides, hiking...
Fact 3: If you're logging an "epic" trip, you kind of want it to be all together, not broken down into irritating chunks of smaller workouts

I'll let you draw the conclusions! At the moment, I use a portable phone charger (solar battery thingy) to mitigate this, but sometimes it runs flat anyway. Or, it bumps around in my bag and the battery falls out, or there's some other unexplained error requiring a restart.

or sportstracker crashes

Happens to me sometimes, when I get a call, taking photos or changing music.

Joining the workout later on the website would be fine too, if it is then also possible to download the complete gpx files.

Fastest solution...

Fastest & easiest solution would be an "extra power" thing like Nokia DC-11 or DC-8.
Because normaly your phone informs you several minutes before it is out of energy with a bep or something. Then simply plugin the extra power and continue like normal...
Maybe there is third party apparel for less money...

But I think the function should be integrated anyway. Until this happens we have to be sattisfied with the extra power solution.

external chargers

I tried several external chargers. all of them are good for emergency calls and not suitable to charge the phone for several hours
