Fri, 2009-02-06 20:18 TheMaXeR: Where to suggest a new software?

here? :D i finger out the forums but i didn't find section for this.. even no "contact us" page ! any way .. i would like to suggest you some softwares: 1- a twitter client .. until now there isn't any native S60 (Symbian OS C++) twitter client (except fring and the unreleased TwitS60) .. all is J2ME (Widsets, twitm... etc) and i think twitter is one of most popular web2.0 site alongside with facebook, digg, flickr and delicious. 2- a Linux PC Suite .. Linux users until now haven't any supported software from Nokia, and it's impossible to backup/update/sync your data with Nokia phones.. especially new N-series phones .. wammu, gammu, xgnokii and gnokii not works, and connecting my phone using USB or Bluetooth only for copy files from/to my Ubuntu, but what about SMS, MMS, settings and contacts ? how can we sync it or backup it.. btw .. if you ask about how may Linux users around the world, Linux market share up from 1.77% in December 2007 to 2.13% in December 2008. according W3C : http://w3counter.com/globalstats.php

Tue, 2009-02-24 10:39 mbrett: Another New Suggestion

How about an update to Nokia Music Player with support for "Album Artist" metadata. This is already supported in the PC Client, but the "Album Artist" feild is not modifyable on the phone and can not be sorted upon. The problem is that the lack of album artist results in the inability to transfer compilation albums onto your phone as when you then seach by artists you have a separate entry for every different artist on the cmopilation album messing up the Artist sort. With sort by album artist you spend a little time setting teh "Album Artist" feild for each artists album and setting "Album Artist" to "Various Artist" for each compilation album. now when you sort by "Album Artist" you only see artists who's album you have and compilation albums under "Various Artists". Hopefully I have explained myself well enough, as this I my MAJOR frustration with playing music on my N95 8Gb.

Sun, 2009-03-08 16:59 aahammer: Scrapbook!

There is one BIG lack in the 5800!

one of the first Touch-Devices without a Notepad to scrap notes on with stylus.

Just one Page and there you ccan write. When you open the App, the page shows up. No opening of files!

THAT would be great and very handy!

Thu, 2009-04-16 19:02 Zanir: Videocall

I think right now the best application could be a native "videocall" program for s60 so we can use any wifi network instead of use the 3G network...

I already suggested also in www.s60.com so here could be a good initiative too.
