Bugreport: Problem with video converter after Vista update by downhouse

I have used converter a lot, without any major problems. Now, after some Windows Vista security updates I started getting this kind of error message when starting converter:

"mediahandler.exe

The mediahandler process could not start properly.

Please check to make sure you have your firewall configured to allow it to connect."

Then, when trying to add a file to be converted I get the same message and the file is not added to list -> cannot be converted.

I tried to play with firewall without success.

Then, when trying to add a file to be converted I get the same message and the file is not added to list -> cannot be converted.

I tried to play with firewall without success.

Vista update screwed up something somewhere. Do you have any suggestions that what to do? This same problem has been mentioned for example in www.internettablettalk.com/forums.

Bugreport: Problems in Windows when it runs from a user account by gmathisz

The converter will not work if i run it from windows with a user that has only user rights. It will show some errors and the application will stop responding. I have to kill it from the Task Manager. I have found as a work around that if the user gets full right to the folder where the program is installed it will work.
Also another problem that i see is that after the data is converted it is not saved in My Videos but in the folder where the program was installed.

Suggestion: native resolution smaller than 800 x 480 by adrianvw

While this program is adequate and performs as advertised, it would be of added benefit if:
1)	the programs native resolution was smaller than 800 x 480
so I could operate the converter from my N810 when logged into my computer with RDP or VNC. (allowing me use the program to convert a video from my N810)
2)	supported as many formats as VLC media player, I find I have video to convert that is not compatible.
