N8 running on Belle. Program is rather erratic and slow, very slow. For example: I want to see the location of some restaurant, found in the viewfinder, on the map. I hit the 'map' icon and after a short time the map appears, but with completely unreadable straatnames. Then I have to wait a much longer time (30-60 sec.), flip the phone and voila: the screen goes black for 2-3 seconds and after that a readable map appears. Same goes for the 'drive' function. A 3D map with unreadable streetnames appears, then you have to wait for about 30-60 seconds, flip the phone and a 3D view with readable names is all yours :-). The funny thing is: if I just use the 'walk' icon a readable map appears almost instantly. And then again: sometimes everything works just fine. In short: CityLens is slow and very erratic but with the right improvements it could be really great. Or my N8 is to blame, perhaps? My 3G 4.8Mbs internet connection?
