Hi vivek1214,
When you tap on an attachment do you get the toolbar with the options "View", "Read", "Download", "Copy" etc.?
Do you get the unable to connect. Check connection settings when tapping the "View" button?
That error message must come from Symbian and not our application since there is not an error message with that text in the app. (Just searched for it). If you could describe in a little more detail how you are trying to view attachments so I can understand what goes wrong?

when I tap on attachment I see only two options, open and save. When I select any one of the option it gives message "Unable to Perform Operation" within few second, and then "unable to connect. Check connection setting"
I think before installing some updates It was OK.
Pls solve my problem

Hello, I am getting one more problem with my nokia n8 social network application. Initially it was working very nicely but since from few days, I am getting an "Unable to connect to gateway. Please try again" error. I am using GPRS (not WiFi) and I am able to access internet through the browser, download apps from Ovi etc.
Please give me solution

Yes I believe you have an internet connection otherwise you would get stuck at Logging in with Mobile Documents.
Just out of curiosity can you un-installa and install Mobile Documents again and see if the problem remains?
Strange that Nokia Social seem to have the same problems. Have not seen anything like this I'm afraid.
I'll try to install the latest updates to my Nokia N8 (Have been trying for a day now but the process has failed constantly), and see if I get the same.
I'm sorry that I cannot give you any more clear instructions but I simply do not know what's wrong.

Yesterday I downloaded "mobile documents" from ovi store it is running nice and now I can download attachments. but through nokia mail client still not

I have the same problem with the email with the same text:

I´ve try with reinstal the email(Gmail) and try with another email,the result was the same.
Please I need some advise about that.

Hi Guys,
I tried to run Nokia Social but it told me to install and re-install when launched. I uninstalled it and the I could not find an installation file for it anywhere. You guys know where to find it?
lucho954, does it work if you uninstall and then re-install Mobile Documents? I've not been able to reproduce your problems yet, so I don't really know what's happening.

Thanks for the soon answer, my problem is on the standard e-mail, I´ve not installed the mobile documents app. I see that many guys with the N8 have the same problem in Europe, check this in Nokia Europe:

Today I can´t syc the gmail in/out box.

The problem is gone. Now I can see and donwload the attached documents in Gmail.

I´ve do nothing, just start working normal (save and see the attached items).
Today morning the problem returns, but now the problem is gone again.
I think this is a NOKIA problem becouse I have the same message in everey NOKIA email client account (Gmail, Yahoo, Terra).
I hope they can help us soon.

Hi,
I am using Vodafone Live WAP service on N8. I have used MOBILE DOCUMENTS as a PUSH MAIL APP. While configuring the GMAIL account it downloads only the previous 30 days mail on my mobile which is very frustrating although the interface is pretty good. Also it should include a manual sync option in it as well.
I need all the mails in my inbox from the very beginning and it's users' lookout to preserve the free space on their mobile.
Currently I am using Mail for Exchange by Nokia because it works great and downloads all the mails from inbox.
Even I want to use Mobile Documents but want all the mails from inbox.
Kindly help if you have any solution and email on "shahmihir1986@gmail.com".
