Yes Guys, Fring and MobileDocument has incompatability I guess. After uninstalling fring, it works on my N8 too.
Anyhow I'm closely working with Henrick(MobileDocument Team) on testing. Lets see how could this problem gets resolved with uninstalling fring. :)
same here.. uninstalled fring and began to work.. but for sure i prefer fring to stay.. so will be waiting an update for md..

Yes you are right there is a compatability problem with Fring. I can happily say that it's now fixed. That's one of the reasons the 5th edition version was delayed. Hopefully we'll be able to get it up here soon!

I Want to use Mobile Documents without uninstalling Fring from my N8. I have downloaded the app (Mobile Documents) from betalabs on the very first day of its release, but never could manage to use it. I keep FRINGing every second so dont want to uninstall it rather, but definitely want to use the feature rich Mobile Documents.
Just while searching if I'm the only one having the issue or not, I found this; The core forum has its answer.
Also came up with an issue 'compatibility problem with yahoo go and fring.' I don't use yahoo go (so I'm less concerned about the issue) and definitely I cant ask questions about fring to you. But, just tell me, will fring also come up with some update recently with these bug fixes? and should I have to download the new fring too to use the upcoming version of Mobile Documents?

Thank you for your interest in Mobile Documents! Of course I understand that you do not want to un-install Fring to use Mobile Documents. But Fring is indeed the source for this error so I'm not surprised if Yahoo Go also has a problem. They promised me they would have a fix for this in their next release so installing that version when it comes out will do the trick (don't ask me when since I have no affiliation with Fring at all). We also have a fix ready for our next release that should make it work event though Fring has not updated their software. It's currently in testing internally and will be released here soon.

No sorry I can't because I don't really know. We have to sign the email widget at a test house (It's being tested by them as we speak) and we don't have any control over how long that takes. But we are hopeful we can release it next week.
