I like this app, it is a really quick way to create playlists and if you don't like what it is suggesting you just move a slide and it will give you a different selection. HOW EASY IS THAT:-) Note when I first loaded it on to my C7 it didn't sync the music but a simple reboot and away it went.

Great app, but still with some bugs. I´ve been trying it for about two weeks and it's really nice, I really hope for it to graduate to a comercial product. I even tried it with the fm transmitter and it worked fine, but I found some bugs though, specifically when 'playing' with the sliders, I mean setting the mood, specially when I mess with the 'angry' slider, i don't know why but the app just shuts down, it doesn't reboot or freezes it crashes down, and then i have to reopen it to be able to create the personalized playlists. I think that is great app after all, keep up with the nice work. (i gave it 4 out of 5 for that only bug i found)

Seems to be cool, but it's too heavy. It installed more applications by itself then I already have.

While selecting what type of mood or scrolling the bars, the songs it's choosing are not as precise, talking about each songs' genre, if there's an update , i would love to see and extra option where it can detect songs the doesn't have and music genre at all and it will prompt you to choose or classify it. Also 90% of my songs have album arts, it shows in my Music player but not in moodagent's playlist.

The application has crashed 4 times since I installed it yesterday on my N8. It gets "glitchy" when changing the bars, it may be due to the size of my library? I have 1699 files. With the little adds at the top of the screen my phone is forced to make a data connection as soon as I launch the app. Today it actually made my phone crash all togehter while I was listening, for no apparent reason it just stopped working and my screen froze, couldn't get the phone to unlock the screen at all.

Moodagent is actually a really good app. The best part (i was worried about this) is that it is rather accurate. When you set the bars, a song of that mood actually comes, so i'm genuinely happy that Nokia made this app work properly. :)

Moodagent by Syntonetic is supposed to be essentially a port of their older "Playlist DJ" from Symbian C++ to new Qt framework. Sadly, it's vastly inferior to it's predecessor and only thing it succeeds at is proving that bad programmers can f**k up decent software, even if they're using new superior tools (the new Qt and .NET they are using now are much, much easier to code with than old Symbian C++). So, what's wrong with it you would ask? First of all - it can no longer profile your music on the phone. You need special, stand alone, windows-only Profiler tool for that. If you're on Mac, you're Frackd! It even rhymes, but I assure you, for Mac and Linux users it's really not so funny. Second of all: Said windows-only application CANNOT PROFILE TRACKS THE OLD PLAYLIST DJ COULD. Yup. It doesn't even work. With some tracks, it will simply get stuck (no error, just try to profile said track for day). On unrelated note, it will also error out if your track is shorter than 30secs or does not have full ID tags WITHOUT telling you why exactly it doesn't like particular mp3 file. Third of all: All files that managed to be profilled WILL NOT be synced back to your device. What is the point of music profiling tool, that cannot profile your music? Especially, when previous version COULD? Then, there is the forth reason, worst of them all: this new and great version does not support playlist exporting (THE OLD VERSION DID). So you cannot play your mp3 in built in Nokia music player (Which has nice homescreen integration). You cannot play your playlists (because you cannot export them, so there are no playlists:P) on any other devices. Hell, you cannot even play them back on your Windows PC! Seriously, we have been through that ridiculous pseudo-DRM&device-locking before, where you couldn't play legally bought music CD in your car audio. Ask Music Labels how that ended. Or, look closer and check how DRM and device-locked Ovi Comes with Music fares against DRM-free iTunes. Oh wait, Comes With Music is no more. It went the way of the Dodo and so will this sad excuse of music profiling app. Final score: 1/5 (well earned) By review guidelines: # What were the pros and cons of the product? Pros: -compared to old version, absolutely none. Cons: They are legion. Who would you recommend this product to? -no one. Stick with old version, it's much better. What for or how did you use this product? -Tried to get it to work through at least 3 updates and several weeks of time, really tried my best to get the best out of it (unfortunately, you cannot get anything out of nothing, as saying goes) TL/DR (punchline): Don't bother with this crap, use vastly superior previous version (Playlist DJ)

Well, I made some short review on the blog already http://symbianworld.org/8258-moodagent-app/ But I will have it here too. It's brief only. The profiling and moods mixing are really working great and awesome. Playlistings and sharings are awesome too. But there are still few things that this app needs to have. Like the support for headset controls. Nonetheless the application is a great one.

The application is great it does what it's supposed to do and play music on dependence of your mood. It's good for me because when I come back from work or school it keeps me happy knowing the music I will like to hear. I would definitely download a new update if thier is one!

Hi, I tested Moodagent today while running. So I set "Angry" and "Speed" to maximum and all other options to minimum. Still, Moodagent preferred to present me songs like "Fix You" from Coldplay over songs from the Bloodhound Gang or Nine Inch Nails. Strange... And it does not react to Start/Stop/Next/Prev commands coming from my N8 ear plugs. That's a must, 'cause some tracks have some long empty endings... And it crashed (or Sports Tracker?). Whatever, both programs were gone after "Fix You", without an error message. Can't say for sure which was the reason. Oh. And is online-syncing really necessary? IIrc, SE Walkman Mobiles can do this kind of stuff without connecting to the Internet.

This app is rather space consumptive. It requires the installation of Nokia Smart Installer which will set you back 15 MB. This app could also not be more useless in terms of categorizing your music by mood. The worst atrocity was designating "Welcome to Black Parade" by My Chemical Romance as the happiest song in by library. I have Hillary Duff! Where is she?

Downloaded and sync'd ok. Was surprise because I previously downloaded from Ovi store and it didn't sync. Did fairly well with classifying music. I like the idea, will ensure some of my neglected tracks get played

.... great app, suits me needs near perfectly :) Kudos to the developers, the whole interface is slick and a pleasure to use. I had to chuckle when I set all the sliders to lowest except the angry slider, the result gave me the first track of the Muppets. But the results are surprisingly accurate. ....Keep on turning out apps like this and the future will be rosey

I tried this product on my 5230 and it works really well. Few awesome features: 1) It really helps in organising the music on the phone with your mood and u can hav fun with it ..... 2) The touch sensitivity is pretty good .. And the UI is very user friendly Things that didnt work well on my phone were the posting facility on FB or Twitter Overall its quite an interesting app

I was surprized how perfectly Moodagent analized and separated all my music by moods. I was even more surprized that Russian music (even very unknown) was also analyzed quite well. Great work! The best proof of usefullness of this app for me was that today I choosed my mood and didn't skip any of the played tracks. That means that all the tracks played today morning exactly matched my mood. That is quite uncommon situation when use the other players. Great app! PS. The only bug found is that music is not paused when headphones jack is plugged-out (as it is done in standard player). I'll post it as a bug.

nice idea, I like it. But the app could be better, there is no much difference between playlists of different mood, bug at saving playlist
