Nokia Betalabs

Can anyone tell me if I play movies via HDMI cable from N8 to TV will a set of bluetooth headphones work so I get the sound thru the headphones not the TV. At present the sound comes thru the TV.
The Nokia headphones are very expensive so I don't want to buy if they don't do this.
