Review on Nokia Bots

AlarmBot and ProfileBot take some time to learn, and only activate if you use alarms / change profile during calendar meetings.
ShortcutBot should definetely keep updating shortcuts, however the set of shortcuts will naturally stabilize to some set of apps that are used most often.
Hello,
Thanks for the reply. However about the Shortcut Bot, if after it has stabilized to a set of apps that used most often, if I use any other application more frequently than the once that i have used, the shortcut bot should ideally update and put that app on the short cut bot widget. I did not see this happening.
That should happen, although it is quite difficult for an end-user (who isn't aware of the algorithm details) to know when an existing item should be replaced with a new one.
Agreed that it depends on the algorithm. However, the shortcut bot added shortcuts of the apps that i opened like 2 or 3 times initially when it was in the learning mode. However, after that it failed to update the shortcuts although i had opened other apps like more than 6 to 8 times. Now this is defenitely an issue with the algorithm.
I am a global technical trainer working for Dell. So i know how an algorithm works. :)

This might sound like a silly comment, but you wrote "...when it was in the learning mode"
If you have manually taken a bot out of "Learning mode" (see the icon in the Bots widget) it will (of course) stop learning, and stay fixed at what it had learned prior.
Please make sure that it is still in "Learning mode", if you want it to adapt dynamically.

@EskeRahn
I left it in the learning mode because i wanted the shorcut bot to be dymanic. That is what is expected out of the shortcut bot :).
Sounds to me that it is not working correctly. Please try the following:
- uninstall
- reboot
- reinstall
- reboot
@wishall.raj
It was just to be sure :)
(it was the "...when it was..." that trigged the thought)
I used the shortcut-bot as four extra fixed short cuts, by turning the learning off when it got the four I wanted. But of course this is not how it is originally intended to be used.
So why did I do such a silly thing? Well it was the missing 'exclude' list. The dynamics put apps that have a hardware key already (like call) in the shortcut bot, thus making it a superfluous waste of precious screen space...
