hi i downloaded bubbles on my c7. I can see it in my installed applications. But i do not see any icon in applications. How do i get started using it. Locking the phone and pressing power or ment key doesn help

Hello, my problem is that I like the bubbles on my Nokia N8-00 would have. Now I have downloaded and installed. Then I made this with the button lock and the menu button but I still have no bubble `s ????. Is it because I have a German Nokia because I come from Germany?
nein habe auch deutsches handy . wo hast du blasen heer ist nicht verfuegbar zu zeit , und wenn doch mache neu start

hey ya what to do after installing and rebooting the device....i had installed this application on my n8 and rebooted but i could enable bubble screens on my device

Hey guys I also did like @migueloscarsv said. I have QT 4.7.2,QT Webkit & Mobility installed on my phone..
Tired of waiting for the continously delayed latest Bubble,I seached the net & installed the previously released Bubbles v0.11(4).Btw my phone is running on the latest PR1.2 firmware V014.002. Am using this version while waiting for the next version to come up..I can confirm that every QT apps including Ovi Store & Nokia Sleeping Screen are working perfectly without breaking..
So if your tired of waiting, your free to google & install Bubbles v0.11(4).
But for security reasons,install only the core package.
Btw if anyone wants the links for the Bubble package,leave your mail address..I'l mail you the links...

After installing latest nokia bubbles, I have noticed that the phone is automatically enabling power save mode while General profile is activated, which further cannot be switched off without profile change.
works great. Hope to see camera and view open apps bubbles sometime in the future. Thanks for not making us wait for anna to use this, and for making cool free software.
How were you guys able to successfully install this? I have a nokia n8 and installation cancels itself at installation file 1 of 2 (tried 3 times)
Am I missing something here? Do I have to download the QT software? I think I have QT 4.7.2
its working! i ran smart installer after the failed install process and it successfully installed the remaining file
Installed smoothly and works nicely..thanks for this cool software...the way the bubbles and the time text react with the way the phone tilts is a nice touch...

Do I have to uninstall Smart Installer? I'm in conflict here because I've been running the older version. I uninstall it and Now I can't install this new one, because a message error appears and says 'Installation fail' (or backwards, I speak spanish)
I covered the part of have internet connection while I'm installing but I still have the problem.
Can somebody make a list of the files that I have to install on my phone, so I can finally install and run Bubbles for once? Thanks!
Restart the phone after unisntalling the previous version and it should install fine...
Also install it on the Phone memory, not mass nor memory card
@mozerfok, what do you mean with restart the phone? Like a hard Reset? or simply Reboot by turning off and turning on.
Reboot the phone when I uninstall the previous version. Then I tried to install the file that I download here and doesn't work.
And yes, I install the app on the phone memory.
I still don't know what could be the real problem. I think that I'm going to uninstall Smart installer and download it again. lets see.
I'm stuck. I'll try to resume my problem in 3 items
*I uninstalled the previous version and I restart the phone.
*I tried to install this new version, but during the installation seems like I can't move on from the third step wich I know that because the phone make a little noise (like when profile switch)A message: 'installation fails' appears.
*I go to adm app and it figures: 'Nokia Bubbles installer' (778 kb) and 'Nokia Smart Installer' (15 kb). But obviously isn't work.

After several trials and by removing some apps and widgets to not interrupt any process of installation and the connection of internet, I think that maybe the message 'installation fails' could be the QT. (i Have the last version)
But I need to know details about how this works and how to install it.
Thanks everybody, As you can realize.... I install nokia bubbles a couple a months ago and I can't remember AT ALL how to install it again from the beggining.
i cannot uninstall old version because application manager is not working any more. it gives the load message and then it loads forever. i have to reboot to stop it. how can i manage this situation?

@gonxs Once you uninstall the previous version, you restart the phone, then from there you rerun the installation of the new version...
This done, you restart the phone again after install...
If the instalation fails, check if any other QT based apps are not already present on the phone... You can also head to the tools menu and perform a software update via SWUPDATE.
it says installation failed on my N8. not sure why!! i had installed previous ver in the past but had uninstalled because of the bugs long back... can some one help? thanks
@Mozerfok yeah, I've been doing all that. It seems that Nokia bubbles doesn't work on PR 1.1, I forgot to mention that, wich is very important and crucial.
I live in Argentina and the cellphone company doesn't release yet the latest version of software: PR 1.2

@srinathdesh I have the same problem. Be sure to have PR 1.2, if not, You can install the oldest version like I did without problems.

first of all I have to mention that I love Nokiabubbles! Great idea & really nice realization! Thanks beta-labs!
Never the less I also have to report another bug and it's solution:
I have got the n8 with PR1.2 (ver. 014.002.237.04). After uninstalling old version of bubbles with the program-manager and rebooting I tried to instal the new one, also in the program-manager.
Normally there pops up a window with the information about the program you want to instal and you have to click the ok-button to confirm.
THE BUG: after popping up the window just disappears. Task-manager says that there would be an installation for round 30 seconds. Then it disappears. Afterwards the program-manger is stuck and you have to reboot the phone to get it working again.
I tried it this way several times...always the same.
THE SOLUTION: do not instal with program-manager! Use the file-manager and simply open the .sis file. Then installation works fine and you can enjoy this great program.
failed to install....something like "error....widgets have been removed"...then my desktop setting is gone! :(

I have problems to install this app. The main reason is because I have QT 4.7.1 installed on mi n8 only. QT 4.7.3 is required to ensure the running of this app but I haven't been able to find this QT version install package nowhere. Is it possible for you to help me about this issue?...

i had installed the old version and after few weeks thought it was slowing down my n8. Now trying the new version...so far its super smooth and love the addition of the flash light feature... Thanks and great job.

I have nokia C6-01. The installation of bubbles was fine. It installed the latest qt and web kits also during the installation. However, the application doesn't seem to work. Its listed in the application manager, but I can't find it anywhere in any folder. Please help me activate it.

Hi all. My bubbles is now working fine after I switched off my C6-01 and removed the sim card for around an hour. Thanks though. Still no settings is seen anywhere. And only 4 permanent bubbles are shown.
For the settings you have to click and hold the clock...
@Lisaaah: wo du es runterlädst ist, glaub ich, egal.aber du musst während der installation mit dem handy online sein. Liegt wahrscheinlich daran, dass geprüft wird ob du die richtige qt-version hast.
This just doesn't work.
I've uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled, rebooted . . . to phone memory, to mass memory . . . with file manager installer, with regular install . . . all the qt versions to date . . . this is pointless now.
Apple makes it so easy
but I love my Nokia E7
@stefanas, you mean that you can install the application ok but it does not appear when you lock the keys and press menu key?

One thing that might cause smart installer to fail update the Qt library is that when updating from Qt 4.6.4 you should not have any application running that uses Qt. So if you face problems when smart installer tried to install first downloaded file try closing all background applications, change the screensaver to be something else than sleeping screen, remove widgets that use QT from homescreen (e.g. nokia reader) and try running smart installer again. After you smart installer completes you can restore all the changes that you previously did back.

Hi, Installed the Nokia Bubbles on my N8.. Very nice Programme, Alittle bit of trouble to download.. Not that good with computers but managed ok..My phone also froze and had to force shut down.. before that no bubbles.. Still haven't worked out how to add or delete bubbles.. I'm not that good at reading, just reading between the lines.. but looks a very smart and colourful programme.. so far a little tricky with understanding how the bubbles work.. but worked it out.. dont like to read all the information..still have to unlock first which is a bit of extra work but have been doing that from the start.. would have been the best programme EVER IF IT HAD THE QWERTY KEYBOARD IN PORTRAIT..N8'S ONLY DOWNFALL.. WHEN IS IT GOING TO BE OVER WITH ALREADY!!! NEED TO BE ABLE TO TYPE WITH THE THUMBS AGAIN... PLEASE HURRY UP AND GIVE US ALL WHAT WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR...LOVE MY PHONE EXCEPT THAT DARN KEYBOARD!!!

Yesterday I updated my N8 to Symbian ANNA!
I have symbian anna installed on my Nokia C7.I have installed nokia bubbles on my memory card,but i didn't see any bubbles icon in my application folder.Everything seems to be working fine bubble thingy whatever,only it hanged once and then i robooted it again.My problem is how do i uninstall this app.Help ASAP.Thanks.
