Good job, Nokia :)

Very nice app and it's working pretty good. However, after drawing that "8" in the air to calibrate whatever that was, locations are not in their right place (they were before calibration), although I haven't tested it yet in outdoor places.

I've tested today in outdoor places and the GPS is being very accurate regarding my position. When I check the map, places are OK in there but when using it with the camera view, still shows places in the wrong location.

Same thing here. This issue will surely be corrected on the final version.

Product team response

Hi iranjr and Nicolas.Urioste,

Glad to hear that you like Nokia City Lens and thanks esp. for the feedback; sorry for the calibration issues - we are actively looking into this.

Can you please elaborate on the "shows places in the wrong location" issue (e.g. how far off are they in camera view)?

And, as Nicolas pointed out, stay tuned for updates!

With best regards,
Raj

Hi Rajiv,

I appreciate the quick response time.

In my case, when in camera view, places are 180 degree far off. It seems as if north switched with south and east with west.

Please let me know if you need more details/feedback.

Kind regards,
Nicolás Urioste Arnaude.

Forgot to mention, I am inside a building and not moving.

Thanks Rajiv for the prompt response and Nicolas for your comment. I have almost the same issue as Nicolas described. If I could attach some images here I would show you exactly what I get. i.e.: If I am pointing out to 0 degrees on North and I have in the map a Mall located at 180 degrees on South, when using the camera view, the Mall will be showed up approximately 90 degrees on West.

Best Regards,
Iran Lemos
