1st i Export Settings from N8-1 ( Mailaccounts, Connection-targets 2WLANs 1MobileACC, Exchange)
but after transfer to Nokia N8-2 the WLANS not existant an must new activate - but after input password for the wlan it creates a new Target with Number like wlan#2
also it become failure when i try import the Certificates to N8-2
also i cannot delete or edit failure-Connection-Targets via "Edit-Online"-mode
But Respect!! the V6.3 works definitivly better than "stable" 6.2 with the N8

When importing and exporting mail settings on my N8 (I only have one!) I noticed that the passwords for mail accounts were missing. Have you noticed that?
I'm not sure if the tool is designed like this on purpose?

I think for privacy reason the password of e-mails has to be empty. The end user has to insert it.

shizo77, could you please clealry describe the issue. please get the latest version and give your issue wrt NCT 6.3 avaialbe on Nokia beta labs.
hpholm, passwords are not in english text , coz of privacy reasons. email account passwords can be send using NCT.

i have Anna 25.007 PC 0599762 on Nokia N8
i put the N8 on the Computer and Start the NCT.
if i Import the Settings into the NCT it imports also the pre installed certificates... Thats the Failure - if i try to resend the pre-installed Certificates to the second N8 it comes to the failure. Now i dont checkup this to send to the second phone then it works fine.
The NCT is the best selection for setup Email-accounts and Exchanges in the N8 - this dont be deleted after reset the Phone. Thats great!!!
i am have also import an Preinstalled "Easy-WLAN" Internet-Connection that i cannot delete or edit. It isnt setup by myself! i was preinstalled but not availabe in the Phone.
why i cant delete or edit it in ONLINE-MODE? its a Symbian-Needed Thing? i dont see it in the Phone under Connections->Settings->Connect-Destinations-> Internet
only in special apps like NetQin mobile Guard i see it and can select it but its not setup or working by myself - its unusable then i want to delete it but i cant!
The other Internet-Connections are perfect copied to the second Phone and works good - but the WLAN-Connections are dont working - it ask me to the KEY - if i enter the key then it creates a second WLAN-Connection with the same name a second time ( Like the imported name is 123456 then it names 123456#2) and then it works - but the first ( 123456 ) doesnt work.
i check it before i transfer it and all is okay - the key is okay - i dont know whats the error by transfering

Easy-WLAN is comes with phone settings. the device does not support to change these settings. another point to note down is NCT can be used to create new settings or to edit the existing settings. but settings present in the device canot be deleted from NCT.

the WLANs and Internet Connections will be transferred but it comes to Failure errors while transfer - after the Connections in the Phone but not visible in the phone settings - only with NCT Online edit i see it iss transferred by Name - but not the Settings of the Connections was transferred no Name and Password no other settings in the Entrys are transferred - so: I want to use a setting or will be Connect with my WLAN then it comes Failure to enter my Key...if i enter the Key the WLAN Entry names not so with the Router - i hope you understand me now thats really an issue to fix in NCT - Why cannot the NCT Superuser or Root Connection into N8 to Setup these Settings??
