Well, not working well for me and my N8-00: To download it from the betalabs site, I had to remove my handset selection. - Otherwise it would always tell me that my handset is not supported. And that while the description says this version DOES support all Symbian Handsets.... Mmh cannot figure that one out. Installed the programm without issues on the Win7 Enterprise 64 bit. Starts fine. When using the "retrieve profile", it recognizes my N8-00 and then ALWAYS get the error "Import synchronization status was DM_UNKNOWN in syncID 5". The same would happen with V 6.2; the version prior to that DID work. As such, does not work with my N8-00, on which I'm running the latest official N8-00 firmware "Anna".

Downloaded Nokia Configuration Tool. I was sceptical, but am very pleased. I installed a new mail client without any noted problems. I am very pleased with the advanced features this program allows. I have only had the program for about 10 minutes, but will try to update this as new information is found out. The only con I can see is that there are no server details that one can pick from, such as delete from server when deleted, etc...

It worked fine with the C7. I was setting up new e-mail accounts. The nokia e-mail assistant on the mobile just gave me error notes, but with the NCT I could do the settings manually.

I have to admit, it's much easier to configure N8 with the help of this tool while sitting at my computer than using the phone directly. Much easier! First of all it helped me to enable MMS (N8 S^Anna). After I followed the online instructions from my Operator on how to enable MMS sending/receiving with my N8 since everything is automatic, but nothing happened... Tried multiple times... So I had to go to the Operator's Center (M:TEL), and after 2 hours of sheer torture they explained that it wasn't the first time that the owner of N8 couldn't use their MMS service... I was so disappointed...! Then I went home and searched the internet, and ended up on your website, downloaded this tool, installed it on my PC (Win7 32-bit), plugged in the phone, chose connected online, waited a bit..., and under MMS settings in the app. found option "hidden" (should be unmarked!) and changed the upper value to "MMS and highlighted", and VIOLA! It works! IT WORKS!!! Thank you very much! P.S.- Managed to set up multiple e-mail accounts, and one based on Exchange Server as well - in no time. Thank you!

Honestly, good for when you reset your phone; a little bit on the non-intuitive side, but that learning curve can be completed with documentation. If the interfase were more user-friendly, it would be the perfect handler for all things Nokia! The Sky is not your limit, fool; Your Imagination is

After reading profile from C7 hangs claiming inactive sync profile. Email settings cannot be sent to the device while Mail for Exchange can. Needs a fix. Other than that, very useful and good tool.

A good tool. with this, I was able to tweak my WiFi settings and get 200mb/s more speed. This is why I tried the program. I can see how it would work with Ovi Suite as well. Additionally, works well on virtual systems. Overall, I am pleased with its performance. Thank you!

I always thought having something like is really useful, especially after hard reset and you just want to reload your phone configurations back. Besides you can change a specific profile, or just remove it if you don't like. - N8-00 PR1.2 (no Anna yet for USA) - windows 7 professional 64 bit. I saw someone complaining about this program not working under Win 7 64bit but I have no issues. It works fine! That said, a message "profile not valid" shows up every time I try to edit because many of the profiles are not completed (yet). I wonder if you can remove that message and only show it when the a specific field is edited and not fully completed. Nice work!!! -T

Tnx so much for this program, my phone had hidden settings for mms wich didn't work, but with this program i was able to edit them & now everything works fine for sending mms
