As i was suspecting mu-y internal gps didn't work anymore, i ran this test which confirmed that fact. 4 items are passed (connect to position server etc...) but the 5th one states: testing error -33 ... Does anyone know the meaning of that code? Thx

It works good, except for the memory diagnostics. I tried lot of times but it allways freeze the phone.

the ambient light test says it failed the test but I think it is working normally thanks to the screen / color test i figured out that there is an OLED problem with my device

First; this is great & works well on the device. Checked my N8. - Strings used -> Can these be made uniform; e.g. Network, Packet data- when the confirmation note appears, the strings appear with logical string names. - Memory test- "Does it take care of - Phone & Mass Memory" ? We could see only Memory test & memory card; as 2 sets here. - E.g. Vibrating alert - It shows up first that "Unable to..."; but the result shows up as 'Test complete - test failed"; ICON-SHOULD show up as "X" -instead of a Tick. - Memory Card -> We dont get to see what's happening on there ? May be should we show up the Details in Mem Card - At least Media files & other major contents. MMC is a standard pattern of contents, cant it be done? - Enabling Remote connection from Device ? -

Well, it is a good utility and comes handy while troubleshooting on our own. BUT whats with Nokia devs? Cant they simply follow the rules on which a UI is based? Now how much is it difficult to implement the single tap in this app which has been applied everywhere in Symbian^3 (well, minus the camera app)?

Though this seemed interesting, but the initial version has only rudimentary tests. I had to remove it as 5800 anyway has very low RAM, and the app cannot be installed on memory card :(

I suggest for internet connection 2 differents test, 1 for wifi(if available) an 1 for wap, so we don't have to pay for the wifi test.....

I tried it on my 5800xpressmusic v52. and it worked well. But in the case of phone memory it is showing 49% used but the all sections given below are showing 0%used then where the whole 49% memory is used.it showed memory card test pass but on which base.

this worked very well on my nokia n97 all test passed. speaker test would be better if it tested single speaker at a time, thanks tho just found out only one of my loud speakers is work so reall itt did its job thanks

Kept getting error message when trying to back up to memory card "memory full try closing.... yada yada"... Sooooo tried this "test". guess what, it comes back as all ok and no problems. Is this JUST for hardware? How do you sort out RAM memory?

On the E72 the "network coverage test" doesn't shows the signal strength. All the other tests are obsolete - e.g. to check if the loudspeaker works I can also just play a soundclip or ringtone. And so on. This application is not very helpful :-( I hoped, it could help me to find out, why my mobile sometimes blockes the keypad, so I have the switch it off and on again.

Does not good application icon please change icon and other add icon this application.When installing in my nokia C6 than say "appliaction not compatible with phone" please make all s60v5 compatible apps.

The application uses considerable RAM when it runs through all its tests. The application doesn't appear to clean up after itself to make the RAM available for the phone's next start. It may be appropriate to provide users with a tip to re-start the phone after a test, etc. Maybe this is only an issue for the resource limited N97?

The app downloaded and installed well except for an error message that the application was NOT compatible with my device, which I thought strange. I powered on regardless. The application takes up only 702kb on drive C, which still leaves me with over 31Mb. It is an easy application to use, suited to beginners. I think it could be very useful.
