Cool app - some ideas for the future.

A cool and useful little app!

A few improvement ideas...

Integration with the phones address book. No one wants to have to remember emails or phone numbers and it's especially difficult to do when your trying to start a meeting from your mobile. Full integration with the devices phone book so with a couple of clicks you can select a person would be helpful.

Calendar integration would be good too. That way you could set up an easy meet and have the phone's reminder go off and possibly launch the app from that.

Uploading files from the mobile - a thumbnail view would be better for selecting pictures off the phone - it's really hard to know what file you need to upload is when it's just numbers (i.e. 2009031002.jpg etc).

How about from the meeting, the ability to activate the phones camera and snap an image directly into the meeting.

Optimise viewing for the devices screen size - viewing on the N95 you have to scroll around in full screen mode. Maybe some improvements in scaling.

Text chat from the phone is a bit painful if you don't have a qwerty keyboard. How about VOIP capabilities - although a huge one to implement.

It's a great start though. I can see with a few tweaks it being a really handy little app to have when you're out and about.

Hi Marky,

Thanks for your valuable feedback.

Thanks Mbrett for pointing marky to some of the previous answers.

Yes text chat can be painful from a non-qwerty keyboard, but we do have voice conferencing functionality where in when you create the conference just provide your access number, conference -id and/or PIN and when you are in conference, you can just click the voice calling link and it will dial you directly into the conference.

The thumbnail view is a very good idea. Let us see if we can do that from a browser.
The ability to snap a photo or a whiteboard directly from the meeting has been our highest priority. The security aspects of browser doesnt allow us to do that today, so you have to go out of the meeting (you dont have to kill your browser session though) and take the snap. Once the secuirty aspects of the browser are taken care of we can surely do more.

Thanks @mbrett & uchandra.

I thought of a quick way to make it easy to send invites out from a mobile.

If you create a template in your messaging folder you can use it to ask people to join your meeting room. Just add the URL to your default meeting room.

When you want to invite people to an Easy Meet, just go into messaging, select the template, pick your contacts from your phones address book, and then send via email or sms. There's no typing in emails or phone numbers that way and it's very quick.
