Maps application starts in a foreign country (Germany)

When I start the map application, in many times, before GPS locates me, the first map that appears in my mobile is somewhere in Berlin, Germany. When the GPS locates me in Spain, map changes to Spain and works good.

I am from Spain and have never been to Germany and of course I have not the Germany maps installed in my phone.

My phone is Nokia C7-00 with Nokia Belle.

have the same. I am from Poland but my mobile is in Russia ;) GPS take some time till he locates me.

Usually you have the first position in Berlin (this is where Nokia maps is made) after the update of the app or a reset of the mobile.
after that you have used it, when you restart Nokia maps, will it show Berlin?

Yes, the first time I start Nokia maps after resetting the mobile, the first position that shows is Berlin. After the GPS has located me, if I restart Nokia maps, it doesn't show Berlin.

Maybe, this issue is acceptable the first time you start Nokia maps after installing the application, but in my opinion it's a mistake that always shows Berlin every time you reset the mobile, because, as says previous comment (Paolcia), it takes some time to locate you and because my mobile has to download the Berlin map and wastes data (more than 2 MB every time) in my data plan
