The only thing I didnt like in this release that the Application "Places" is converted to Widget.. Now practically it is becoming NO NO to use. I used to use the old Places app quite regularly when there was option to find out nearest POI you wanted.( Category wise). it Was very useful to find out ATM near your location Or a Coffee Shop.
Now I miss it or just dont want to use small widget for the same.. Also you cant set the widget to find only ATM near you.. it just show all the POIs near you .. I am sure no one wants to find out hell lot of useless POI near their location when he is looking for something specific.
Please get back the old "Places" application with more abilities to find out the POIs CATEGORY WISE and not the whole non required things around you t that moment..
Any other way to get the old places app again?

Hello Nitin,
The widget does not replace the Places app. They were developed separately. There was a separate decision to not deliver the Places app with this Beta. While we currently do not show ATMs nearby we can hopefully add this in the future - I agree it's a super helpful thing to see.

Thanks a lot Ivoviira and jenny.. It was not there so i was looking for it and didn't get it along with Local Transport so I thought it is converted to widget now.. anyways.
First time I am very happy to see something amazing development in Nokia location based applications and all apps together.. Very good and planned work. I must appreciate.. i have given suggestions on Places application in different thread.
will do some R & D and actual road test on other apps this weekend..
