Very, very good set on apps. However, the near by places widget just Will not load.

Thanks for reporting this!

Could you let us know
* which phone and firmware you're using (*#0000#)
* where you are located physically
* which positioning methods are enabled
* which connection methods you have enabled (wifi?)

Also: does the My Location widget get a position?

I'm using a C7-00
Software 111.030.0609
I'm based in London, UK
GPS connectionns enabled - assisted GPS, Intergrated GPS, wifi/network, network based
My location widget gets a position just fine.

To be clear about the issue - the widget itself never loads at all. All I get is the rotating thing showing its loading.

Aaah! Ok, that is extremely interesting (and bad).

Have you tried to reboot the device? Do you by any chance have any other Beta apps installed on your phone?

I've sent the log you asked for.Yes I have tried re-booting the device. I have a number of beta apps installed and working very well including - play to, wellness, city lens, soundtracker radio.

We updated with a small positioning fix that falls back to the previous system position in case of a time out. Would be fantastic if you could install the latest version and see if this helps.
