After two week of pleasure with Maps it stopped loading yesterday. The same with Driving. I can see the loadingring for half a second and that was it.

Something odd I experience Maps surches for a long time. then it changes to a distant map. when i zoom in it is allwas far from whre i realy am. Very annoying.

Did you uninstalled the previous version totally before installing Maps Suite 2 (3.9 Maps app) The old Maps app and associate apps should be uninstalled before you install 3.9
Now 3 days since mindchallenger pointed out that there is no instruction to uninstall previous version - and still this obvious and very necessary instruction has not been included in the Installation Instructions or the Known Issues list.
Pull the finger out Nokia!

look, your instruktion tells to uninstalled the previous version, your link tells us the way to uninstall the new version. Who got things mixed up?

But if they have not asked to uninstall the 3.8 means it is not necessary.. In Belle update, the Maps app is given in UDA file (not in ROFS2) so it can be formatted.. (c:) When you update to belle the whole system gets revamped with Belle... So when you update to 3.9 the old things get formatted automatically.. So ther is no need to uninstall the 3.8.. some applications like Check-In are not included in 3.9 so if you overwrite 3.8 with 3.9 then you get the new Maps applications along with Check in and other apps which are not included in the 3.9 pack.
they have not given uninstall instructions because it is not necessary..

I re-read the Installation Page and the Known Issues Page as you suggested. Nowhere does it say that to install Maps Suite 2.0 you must first uninstall a previous version. Nokia's mistake and it's still not corrected.

If they have not asked for uninstall the version 2.0 then it was not necessary.. If you are getting the problem then it can be different reason.. If you uninstall whole Nokia map 2 then you loose Check in also which is not part of Version 3.0 .. so they have not asked us to uninstall the version 2.0
I will suggest now uninstall everything and re-install again. That should work for you.
