Moderator moved from Nokia Maps Suite 2.0/Discussion/General/GPS-widgets way of working?
I just have a question about how the GPS works. I have 'My location' widget on my 3rd home screen. Does the phone turn on the GPS on a regular basis to update my location, even though I always leave my phone on the first home screen? Or does it only activate GPS when I am on the 3rd homescreen? I worry that these GPS-based widgets might drain battery on a constant basis when I'm not really using the location widget. Any information/feedback would be appreciated!
