Satellite view problem in west Tenerife still.

2012-02-13 @ 20:58 by crapmaps69
It would be nice if Nokia maps matched Navteq and Google by providing satellite views down to street level of west Tenerife, I been reporting the problem for 6 months now, been bounced back and forth to Navteq but still no fix? why can it work on all islands in the Canarias but not in the most populated bit?

Maps and satellite views should continue to improve over time. It is natural that higher priority is given to more populated or touristy areas. Hopefully your part of Tenerife will get better satellite images soon!

My point exactly, Playa De Las Americas and Los Cristianos ARE the most touristy parts of all the islands?, places like Gomera(20 miles away) with a population of about 100 work fine? so your answer is just as bad as those answers i have been being fobbed off with before. You all deny there is an issue?

I see, I had not understood what you were saying in the first post. That is odd. I'll see if I can track down someone who knows more about the satellite map data collection. No promises, though.

This trial has ended!
