not showing any places

doesnt shows any places, it looks just like ovi maps with my location indicated by a red dot. when i tap at the top right icon it shows 'no bar/pub,coffee/tea,leisure &outdoor etc found here' in ther respective tabs.

Sorry to hear that. Could you please provide some further information for your case, so that we can investigate? Would be very useful to know:

1) Device you are using + Firmware(*#0000#)
2) Maps version (Beta SR8?)
3) Connection details
4) Where are you located / what is the area you expect to see content?
5) Does it although download Map data? (= you can see streets etc.)
6) Do you have other apps running in parallel in Background?
7) Does rebooting solve your problem?
8) Does activating only one category solve your problem?

Hello,
No success in trying to reproduce it, but some more details might help 
Actually by moving the Map to Assam-India there seems to be pure content for places in general. Did you try to move to some other area/city? Please zoom out, move your map around and zoom in again to check this.

yes i tried moving to other places, zooming in and zooming out. still no success.
