I like the new Maps 3.09. First of all, Add to Route functionality is back, which I really appreciate. Thank you, Nokia, for listening to our requests when we nagged you about this in the Maps 3.08 review. Second, links of type http://m.ovi.me/... (which are sent by Maps and by some other applications that can share the location) are now opened in Maps instead of in a mini telephone-sized browser window without zoom functionality. This is great! I do have some suggestions for improvements, for which I will submit seperate feedback.

It'll not show the Icon(Sun/moon)accordingly... even in night 10-00PM it'll show bright or cloudy sun.. and provide UPDATE in widget itself...

Hello It seems that own voice application for Nokia maps is not working anymore ? Last map installation overwrote my personal voice, I still have the Own Voice (Ma Voix" in french) application installed on my N8 but it's impossible to download already created personal voice ? Thanks for your feedback

Do not install, especially if you like a clean version of the OS. I had an older version of Maps suite installed as well as Pulse (without any issues) and noticed there was an update last time I checked Nokia Beta Labs. After installation and without having really even used it, my battery life dropped from 2 to 3 days to around 7 hours. Most other application no longer worked, suffering from constant pauses of 1 to 2 seconds. Angry Birds was unplayable. Nothing showed as running in the background. Had to uninstall all parts of the suite (of which there are way too many) and a few other items that I think may have been affecting the phone. Battery life has increased dramatically again, but I do not believe to the extent that it was. Feel I will have to flash the phone (yet again) to get it back to how it was. Would give zero start if that option was available, however that does not seem to work either. Did not even get to try the product as battery did not last till the end of the day without using the phone. Phone: N8 OS: Belle 111.030.0609

Kartenaufbau geht jetzt flotter als bei der 1. Version aber immer noch langsamer als bei 3.08, kann allerdings auch an der Menge meiner Favoriten und Fotos liegen. Ansonsten funktioniert es bei mir stabil bis jetzt ohne Abstürze oder dergleichen. Allerdings wäre es schön wie schon mal angesprochen wenn es eine Möglichkeit (APP oder in MAPS) gäbe mit der man die Fotos manuell ihren GPS Koordinaten zu ordnen kann. Zum Beispiel für ältere Fotos ohne GPS Daten oder bei fehlerhafter Positionierung. Beim Iphone gibt es so eine App und es wäre für Maps eine schöne Erweiterung. Ansonsten bin ich mit Maps 3.09 bisher sehr zufrieden.

As the 1-App-Maps won't come back and you finally managed to bring back at least route planning, Maps Suite 2.0 is a very good approach to make Symbian^3 and Symbian Anna users update to Nokia Belle or even buy a new handset. All standard functions in "Maps" and "Drive"(find gps, calculate and recalculate route, voice guidance, and even Live Traffic) work very well for me. Data Transfer for Live Traffice is very low, no need for 3g here and the colored indication of traffic amount is easy to read and understand. The visible maps section in "Drive" is now quite large enough (at least on 4'') to get most important information regarding the route course while the large softkeys make possible an easy operating. I really like "My Photos", before I didn't really use provided function in the camera. this may change my mind as it works well. The only thing I need to criticise is that "Maps" keeps running in the background after "Drive" has been closed. Battery draining due to the separation of the apps? I think you really need some kind of solution for this. Nonetheless the best Nokia Maps since 3.06! Congratulations on that! And keep it up!

La aplicación funciona bien. No he tenido problemas. Pero cuando pongo en modo 3d, los edificios no aparecen en 3d. Por qué? The application works fine. I had no problems. But when I put in 3d mode, the buildings do not appear in 3D. Why?

For Bangaladesh it is of little use,eats up abuot 10mb from C drive,will take time to get the bearing of the whole pacakage(drop,weather,drive ect)

Alles sehr schön, nur die Karten reagieren etwas langsam wenn mann über die Karten wischt. Karten bauen sich schleppend auf, war bei 3.08 nicht so.

I like the fact that you can actually see all the stops before your stop. For someone like me who's new to Boston, it's a fantastic app. As it turns out, after installing the Nokia Belle OS upgrade and Nokia Public Transport, my google maps app stopped working. But I don't mind because this is better than google maps. The only thing is that it would be nice if Nokia could incorporate it into Nokia maps so that its 1 app and not 2...

Generally works fine. I like the change of speed limit alert. But auto-starting maps during phone start + eating my data transfer gives app low average mark - two stars. If you pay for Internet data, do not install, you won't be able to uninstall the auto-starting of app.

Endlich geht es wieder zu navigieren mit Zwischenzielen und guter Bezutzerführung.Kartengroesse ist auch wieder ok. Ansagen rechtzeitig, Ton laut. Kleines minus: Mir fehlen die km zu Ziel und Bluetoothverbindung mit Geraet für besseren Sound. Aber viel besser als 3.08

Works nicely in an area not available (Duesseldorf, DE)… it shows public transportantion means (not all possibilities though) from x to y, time estimate, is fast and switches safely to maps for walking directions… Looking forward to the rest! :-)

yesterday I installed the new beta on my N8. I like the new version, especially the foto view in maps is a nice feature. All in all Nokia maps on Symbian is still the reason, why I prefer my N8 over my Lumia 800
