Sorry nokia but you've got this soooo wrong. doesnt work at all. tried scanning a move poster off the internet....doesnt work. tried scanning objects in my house..doesnt work...tried scanning barcodes....doesnt work. all it does is try and focus over and over again but doesnt find anything. try again!

Hi mkr10001, thanks for your feedback and sorry that you had such a negative experience. :(

Here are a few tips that will help improve your experience next time, provided you're in the US or in the UK and your device is one of the S60 3.1 (N95, N81, etc.):
- Make sure you select the use case of your choice in the carousel: movies or shopping is what we offer for now. The carousel automatically opens when you launch P&F, and you can open it anytime by scrolling up.
- Once you've selected a use case, point your phone at either a movie poster or a barcode and you will see some results appear just below the ViewFinder. Scroll down to select them.
- Or, you can use the directory to search for movies or shopping items. To do so, just start typing and you will see movies or shopping items appear in the directory. Scroll down to select them.
- Press the center key to be view the content, e.g. movie reviews, trailer, or shopping content.

Also our current catalogs are:
- For movies: all the current and upcoming releases. It won't work if you point at older movies that no longer plays, sorry. :(
- For shopping: there are a few millions of products in our catalog, but of course not everything is there yet. If there are specific products you'd like to flag, click <a href="http://pointandfind.nokia.com/?contact">here</a> and send us the reference (UPC code).
- For items in your house: P&F won

Short version: Even after watching the recent video to see how it's supposed to work, same as the above poster. Doesn't work. Pointed at a dozen different posters all current or upcoming, at different angles, etc. Nothing. Doesn't work.

Also, dreadfully slow, Astonishingly bad. All but locks up the N95-8GB NA.

Hi shoobe01,

I'm really sorry that you had a poor experience with P&F... Since April 1st, we have made a lot of improvements to the service (and we fixed a few major bugs too). It is still in beta, but maybe you could give it another chance?

Provided you are in the US or in the UK, you should see a loading bar at the bottom of the ViewFinder when you start the Movies use case. Make sure it has disappeared before you start pointing at movie posters, as this will ensure that your poster can be matched against our content directory. If you are still experiencing difficulty, please click <a href="http://pointandfind.nokia.com/?contact">here</a> to contact our customer support team.
