How do I access estimated routing information?
Thank you!

Timetable routing means we have exact departure and arrival times. That applies to all cities and regions listed under "covered regions."
For many other areas, we have (estimated) routing available. That means we have the lines and routing info for various public transport modes like trains, but we do not have the exact departure and arrival times.
So we know that a train leaves from station A to station B, and we know which stops it makes on the way, but we can not give you exact times.
We also only know how much it will roughly take, but not how long exactly.
So we try to make an estimated guess, taking into account how long the route segments should take, but also how long you may need to walk to get to the stations.
Thank you. My question, however, was focused on finding out how to use the estimated routing information.
My region is not listed under "covered regions", and when I try to request a route, the app just shows a notice stating that there are no available trips or information. The app doesn't give me the option to use estimated routing, and there's only a button to show the regions covered by the app.
Maybe it's just that my city isn't even covered under the "many other" areas you mentioned in your post?
If so, is there a schedule for making the information for these many other areas available to/on the app? I'd be glad to provide the name of my city/area if it's not against this site's privacy policies.

Hi Carlos
Can you give some examples of the routes you tried in your city, so we can investigate your problem further?
Thanks
Of course.
1. From my detected location "Julián Aguirre 2471, Hurlingham, Buenos Aires, Argentina" to "Avenida Leandro N Alem 928, Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina"
2. From "Hurlingham, Argentina" to "Avenida Doctor José María Ramos Mejía, 1104, Buenos Aires, Argentina"
The first route should include the train segment of the second, with one walking segment to a train station (Hurlingham) and another walking segment to the final destination.
Let me know if additional information is needed.
Thanks,
Carlos
I am still unable to use this app. I get the very same error message I mention in my first post every time I try it.
Is there anything that can be done to fix this bug?
Thanks,
Carlos
I've just learned that there is another similar app for Nokia Windows Phones, version 2.1, which specifically covers Argentina. When will the same region get coverage for the Symbian app?
I have tried calculating the routes from your comment (#5 in this thread) with our latest release candidate. Please check the attached screenshots.
Note that I had set the phone to Hebrew for testing purposes, but that should not influence the route results.
Please let us know if the route I got is correct.
The route is accurate. Now, what's even more interesting is that I tried to get the same routing information after looking at your screenshots... and the app is now working! What is different now?
This data is coming directly from our servers and is improved all the time.
So probably our data team fixed the issues in the meantime :-)
But this also shows why user feedback here in Betalabs is so valuable for us - we get feedback what needs to be improved and can try to quickly react on the feedback.
well even i tried out estimated routing it worked now but it gave me wrong outcome.the route it provided me wasn't wrong but was really far away and impractical when there was alternative available.
i searched for this,
from detected position borivali station east, mumbai, india to parel 400012,mumbai,india.
app proviide me route as follows train borivali>churchgate railway station churchgate to cst railway station walk ,from cst railway station>parel again local train.
actually route should have been like
borivali>dadar>parel by local trains.
the thing i point out is app failed to calculate nearest junction for me.nearest junction was dadar.it could have saved my time.
