Does NOT work with my Macbook Pro, OS Lion and Nokia N8. It just freezes on the "checking updates" page and doesn't budge. Hopeless.

I had the same problem, but it started to work after I made sure that the Nokia Multiamedia Transfer was not on at the same time. After I quit the NMT I´ve been able to update Nokia 500 with iMac OS LION and Nokia E7 with Macbook Snow Leopard to Belle. After this the NSU for Mac has worked in all my Macs without any problems.

Interesting. I ended up using a friend's PC for the software update. Especially since NSUM does not back up your phone data like the PC Suite does. Thanks for the info though!

I had the same problem but the tip about closing Nokia Multimedia Transfer worked!
