I would appreciate Nokia N95 8GB support.
Having suffered through the irksome process of running the Windows-based software update in Parallels on my Mac for years, I think I've earned in ;-)
Besides, the N95 is by no means an "old" phone -- I bought mine brand new 3 years ago. Surely the lifespan of a device can be at least that long, can't it?

You are selling E71 on markets right now with a slightly lower price than E72. E72. Has a physical/impossible to fix design problem for some people like me and several others around so that is why we don't upgrade.
Mac users who still insist using Nokia generally chooses this particular device, check your stats there.
So, you support software built in updatetable E72. and not supporting E71 is more like swearing to us or joking with us.
No software genius from Redmond,, even if you convince Cutler himself will be able to fix this absurd behaviour.

... when will it be available? i'm nearly waiting two years for a good nsu for my mb and that's the only reason why i still do have windows bootcamp on it.
Is it that hard to support all the nokia phones (with symbian)? I haven't seen such limitations on windows version.

I know its only beta but u might wanna do it faster for the E5, the way they are advertising ti in the E5, i am sure a lot of people would like to know that u are not even supporting it with all your latest projects..

I barely need this option, because the FW-update doesn´t work on Windows using Parallels..

How long should it take to update the software of the E71? I've been looking for 30 minutes at the "Installing software, please wait..." "Less than 1 minute left"-window..
Edit: 45 minutes now.. Nothing seems to happen, except that i cannot disconnect my E71. What to do?
Edit: despite all usual warnings I disconnected my E71 and restarted my phone. Luckily it was fine but still running the old firmware. I can only conclude that Nokia Software Updater for Mac for the E71 does not work.
Edit (2 days later): I've tried for 4 times now, even leaving my E71 attached to my Mac for 5 hours.. It still shows the "Installing software, please wait..." "Less than 1 minute left"-window. When I pull out the usb-cable the firmware on my E71 (RM-346) is still the old firmware (300.21.012). By the way: I removed the microSD memorycard just to be sure.
Did anybody update their E71 successfully? I would love to hear from somebody.

Will support for the Nokia E71 follow soon? At this moment I have to travel 3 hours by train to my parents to find a Windows PC which I can use. Nokia Software Updater for Mac is a godsend, but for my E71 I still have to visit my parents..
Although Petri says they added support for the RM-588 (5230) it isn't working in my case.
The updater just says "Device is not supported" and "Device SW Version Unknown".
I'm having the same problem as SteffenK75. Incidentally, the 5230 isn't listed in the supported devices list on the download page. It appears that the update petrikonkka mentions is not available for download, is this right?
Device compatibility? Why should there be any limit as long as the device can be updated? Are you people still living in the 1990s?
By the way, it would be nice to see an update from time to time…
Right on the money YAZombie, for a company that cn develop the software required for their top level mobiles, this is truly pathetic. The Iphone is looking better every day & now Google has bought Motorolla . . . . .
I have had 7 Nokia phones over the years but I have just about had enough with their lack of interest for Mac users
6120 classic please. these are standard issue at my workplace because they are hardy and cheap - I work in construction.
I really wish that this software supported the nokia n9. i love the phone, but i'm seriously disappointed that nokia doesn't have a way for mac users to update the software other than waiting on the phased over the air update. how hard would it be to have the update available through your servers?
I live in the US and had to import my phone, it's already been hard enough for me to get hold of it. the last thing i expected was nokia giving me the middle finger as i try to update the software.
please give us a proper way of using your phones. pretty please?
It's realy frustrating when two leaders can't shake hands.. NSU for mac is a good start but with 'a few' device compatibility.. Why is it even an issue? NSU means it should have compatibility for all nokia devices. Why don't you release ovi suite for mac, it will end the discussion. Hey guys stop fight shake hands (like in your ad connecting people c'mon Nokia mac users are also 'people'). :)
It is very frustrating to see NOKIA always forget its customers.
One issue was the OS in my Nokia X6. Always freeze by lack of memory. Fixed with de new SW to v.30 after a forced install by a technician. But it lost its Mini QWERTY.
Swipe only works in Landscape mode. And Nokia Software Updater for MAC do not recognize my phone.
There are several issues with Nokia Multimedia Transfer. In example, it never delete old photos.
Well, I change my X6 to a new iPhone 4GS.

It's about time you all realized that Nokia either don't have anyone with enough brains to come up with a decent Mac version or they have no intention of doing it. It's no wonder that with this mindset, they are losing market share. Do what I did & buy an Iphone
Just add support for N9. It can't be in the realms of impossibility to do it. N9 is a fantastic device, but the update and support experience with it is terrible. It does not even feel like a Nokia device. First of all, even though I purchased an unlocked version at full price, I am stuck with a country variant firmware that does not support OTA updates (or none are released). PR 1.1 was late by a month and I had to hunt down a windows PC to update my phone. There is no sign of PR 1.2 and even when it comes it probably won't be an OTA update and I would again have to hunt down a Windows PC to update my phone.
Just improve support for people who don't use Windows. At least I can sync with Mac (NokiaLink), I wonder what people who use Linux do. :)

"device not supported" - it used to support my E52 prior to this update, now it won't and I cannot download your previous version of the software to restore compatibility...
