This is a fantastic app. I am a lazy guy and this makes me happy about every step I've taken. It even makes me less unhappy when i have to have a walk or go for a tour. I love the graphs, they make me think I've dane something for the world to be a better place. I hope you won't give up on this definitely, because it's one of the few reasons I still stick with my e72. Yes, the beta works on it, however, when it should shut off, it freezes, so I have to start it each morning manually.

Great App. Had it on a N95 never had any trouble with it, and seems to be really accurate. Do they do a version for the X6?

Installed on Nokia 5800 Xpress Music (S60 v50). I ignored the warning. And it works! Will take it out for a test soon. Used the 'Nokia 6210 Navigator, Nokia N79, Nokia N85, Nokia N96' version.

Excellent app. I've been using it for about 6 months on my N86. Never had any problems, it just runs in the background and tells me how far I've walked each day. I would like to be able to upload the data to my computer for better analysis. I love the way it goes wild when I am running!

Good Ideaļ¼But absence Effective stepsļ¼ "Effective steps" Ā· Refers to the standard effects of aerobic exercise and walking steps of the display. Must be 60 steps per minute to walk over and walk for 10 minutes or more

I have been using the program for quiet a while now on my n85. I programmed it to turn on at 8 a.m. (when i wake up) and close at 10 p.m. (when i am always home). The program is flawless ! It counts each and every step, wether you are walking, running, everything. I compared it with my tread mill the other day, it counted the calories exactly like the tread mill did. Awsome program. Thank you BetaLabs Team ! I think it should graduate :)

Cool app for the 5230, works a treat on it. Stick up a complied version for the S60 5th dudes so we can enjoy the beta offically.

This is one of the bet S60V3 apps to come out of betalabs! If you have an N95 it is a must have. A pedometer standalone this sophisticated (and accurate) is worth over $100. It measures exercise intensity quite well, and this is very important to people training. Only one problem - Now I have an N97 I cant run it!! Please Mr Beta labs guy, give us an S60v5 version!!

very nice app, it crashed only two times in a month. I use it daily and it seems to be quite accurate.

Works great, one of my favourite apps! It's always counting, day and night. for about 1.5 years now (on my N85). My record: 30'000 steps in one day (Amsterdam^^) and 100km in that week (5 days)! Works also on N86

This is one of the best applications from Nokia! The inbuilt accelerometer is used in one of the most practical and novel ways! I use it a lot and this application is another reason to choose Nokia! I first used on N95, then N86 and even works like a charm on 5800XM! The step detection algorithm is VERY ACCURATE (though it takes few seconds to update the display)! I previously owned the 5500 sport which was the first to have this functionality (step counting)! But this app is even better than the app in 5500 sport! Highly recommended for ANY nokia phone with an accelerometer!

I've been using this progam on my 6210 Navigator for a couple of months now without any problems, it's set to automatically start each day and it has done so without fail. Definitely recommended, I'm hardly a fitness nut I just thought it would be interesting to see how much walking I do each day. Pros: easy setup, automatic operation, restores data if the phone goes flat (has happened several times, it says 'One workout recovered after application crash' even though it was the phone that died not the app), very cool little graphs showing workout trends (even though I didn't discover them until this morning) Cons: none that I have come across.

Love it. Bought E52 back in october, my first Symbian device with a accelerometer, and been using Step Counter several times a week since then. I can't imagine buying a phone now that doesn't offer a step counter! I find it a bit worrisome that the last version available is for S60 3rd FP2 devices (which fortunately includes E52). What about the Symbian touch screen devices or the N900 Mameo device? Keep the step counter alive!
