Seit mehr als 12 Jahren bin ich Nokia-Kunde. Ich hatte mich auch dieses mal wieder für ein Nokia-Handy (Lumina 820) entschieden, weil die Sychronisation meiner Daten immer relativ problemlos funktionierte. Nun bin ich total enttäuscht, weil ich mich offensichtlich falsch entschieden habe. Selbst das Samsung-Galaxy hat eine Sychronisationssoftware, mit der meine Ansprüche zumindest im Ansatz hätten erfüllt werden können. Ich brauche kein Surfhandy, dann hätte ich mir ein Tablet gekauft. Ich brauche in erster Linie ein Telefon, einen Terminverwalter und die Möglichkeit mal kurz etwas im Netz zu recherchieren und meine Mails zu lesen. Wenn ich könnte, würde ich das Nokia Lumina zurück geben und und mich für ein andeses Telefon entscheiden. Jürgen Kuck

Yritin etsiä karttasovitusta Nokia 620, pajon testiä selkeitä ohjeita niukasti. Ei lataa puhelimesta ilman Wlan yhteyttä, jota ei löydy, vaikka asunnossani on Bluetooth-verkko.

I have the same problem. The nokia suite can not detect my new lumia 920. I want to syncronize my phone by cable, not over a cloud. Next time , no nokia but samsung or something else .

I’m using Nokia E6 phone. I have Nokia Suite (Software version 3.7.22) installed on my Desktop. When I click on “Software updates” icon; the suite is not betting upgraded to Nokia Suite 3.8.10 Beta. How do I Upgrade my Suite to 3.8.10 Beta (or) still any higher version. Please reply me at m.kranthi81@gmail.com

The software shows possibilities for Nokia phone users, except for those of us with a Nokia Lumia! Apart from the fact that the software could not detect my phone, the Lumia has no option screen for selecting Nokia Suite. Obviously Nokia chose to go with Zune Software just to please the younger market, who just want to play games and listen to music and totally forgot about the more serious users who want to be able to sync with Outlook to get calendar and contact info. Things we have been able to do on Nokia phones for years! I almost wish now I had copied my daughters and gone with Samsung, as I really regret buying a Nokia Lumia and would not recommend them to anyone who needs a mobile for there business. Be warned, save your money, the Nokia Lumia is a play phone for kids!!

I'm using Nokia C3-00 and it works fine. I give it 4/5 stars because I'm experiencing few bugs but it has nothing to do with my phone. So yeah :D

I bought a Lumia 920 today as replacement for the E7 (where the micro USB has caused problems for a while). I believed until jhust now that swiutchuinbg from the E7 to a new Lumia would be a peace of cake. So far have I experienced that the otherwise well working Ovi Suite does not support Lumia 920 - not even the new Beta version. So moving the backup to the new mobile seems impossible. Very disapointing. THe Ovi Suite cannot find the Lumia through bluetooth or USB cable...

I am the guy, who wrote the #14 comment. After seeing no move by Nokia, to fix the USB Problem, which diasables the local synchronisation between the Lunia 920 and a PC via the Nokia Suite, I gave up. I sold my Nokia 920 over ebay and went back to a Symbian based Nokia 808 Pureview. It was a nightmare to delete all data in the Microsoft cloud. it rearly is a frustrating process. If you do not want to have your Email in the Micosoft cloud, the whole Synchronisation is very unreliable and cumbersome. I am glad, that I am back to normal. I have just issued a directive to my companies, that the route forward is Samsung, with a third Party Synchronisation Software. ( Hey Nokia, here go 900 devices )

Where is the calender? No way to use it for business or privat purpose. I'm privatly using Nokia mobiles for ages. It seems Nokia, wants me to buy iPhones in future. Windows mobile is also no alternative choice - I have to suffer all day long at work.

Hola, saludos, una opción que no encuentro es la de reinstalar el software: últimamente mi N8 se ha congelado muy seguido y lo he tenido que reiniciar continuamente, desconozco el motivo, pero recuerdo que en versiones anteriores de Nokia Suite en la opción Actualizaciones de software, estaba la opción para reinstalar el software en uso y así resolver algunos errores, pero como las ultimas versiones ya no la tienen, no he podido solucionar el problema de mi equipo. I tried this several ways with Lumia 920 and it does not recognize my phone. Using Windows 7 on my PC. It states "This phone is not in PC Suite USB Mode" But my computer recogizes my phone as a drive and lists folders, Documents, Music, Pictures, Ringtones, Videos. I also googled the question and it seems like several other people have the same issues. I love my Nokia Phone - keep the apps coming !

Works great as the versions during the last year or so have been working. The "Show personal information in Home" selection is a very good addition. A question: is there any difference between the internet connection through Nokia Suite and the USB Modem mode which installs the Nokia PC Internet Access 2.0 software into the PC? Any difference in potential or experienced network speed for example?

Features that i would wanted to add where in the olde Nokia Pc suite which is 5-6 years old now and i used whit my Nokia N95 8G. Simple features like calendar. Suite lacks features which it should have. Theres no point adding anything to it since its just a old relic. Only thing why they updates it randomly is because of the S40 symbian. Which is the worst symbian which "fresh" look. killing Meego or even Symbian 3 wasnt worth keeping alive S40 which is too old to keep allive. Symbian fate is dying since Nokia can now make under 200€ Windows phones. So stick to windows and forget the Symbian its just a relic. Nokia has to but their recourses in use not trying to make old better.
