Hi, I was in Berlin recently and didn't have a data connection outside of Nokia House. My experience of the app makes me impressed, but I had to resort to a low-tech method of making screenshots to know when to change trains, etc. Particularly in a foreign country, I needed this app to know how to get around. An offline mode would have made the difference, allowing me to navigate the connections. Of course up-to-date information on times would not be possible, but at least I needed to know which bus/train to take in order to connect to the next one. I would imagine this could work quite easily, as it's just simple routing without complication of times. Give the user the options based on navigable connectivity.

I am in Madrid. I had the beta version installed and was very happy with it the transit information for Madrid. But in the graduated version, it seems to not give me train and bus routes anymore. I only get walking instructions. Is there any way I can install the old beta again?

I have better alternative here in Finland, its Reitit. I started using Nokia transport but then left it as its complexity made me miss my trasport many time! . Its good that it shows the routes in graphical bars like buses and walks, I am more interested in looking at the overall route graphically which is not available. The time at left panel and the bars on right make it difficult to determine the exact time for each transit, you have to go inside the route to get exact times. Reitit provides simple list of all options with times and also I am able to view the overall route and walking routes as dotted lines, pretty simple to understand! The new options of nearby stops is also useless for me as it shows a list of stops near me without telling me which stop is where. Also shows the same name of the stop for both directions, how do I know that which direction it is telling me? Needs improvements not to make it more complex but to make it easy and simple for users so that they can "Sence their world around them" easily!

The app is made up very nice, I like layout and the way connections are showed, but it said in the beginning that my region is supported but not all timetables are in the app, so I tried it with the times of a main bus route and some other routes and the app always kept suggesting me to walk like about 3 hours... If someday there are all timetables in it I will give 5 stars...

This app can be summed up in one word: Meh. Ie. it is useful, but not great: the symbian belle version much better and the WP-app from HSL (for Helsinki region) also beats this one. Besides the features in Belle, the following features are missing IMO, which means that your results are often undesirable compared to getting your results straight from www.reittiopas.fi - Settings: able to set walking pace to faster, e.g. in Helsinki the default walking pace is granma -speed. Also option for preferring to minimize interchanges etc. is needed.

Better than 1.0 but still needs more accuracy, almost in my town (Bilbao)

Excellent, it updated the exact thing I was looking for the other day. I use Nokia Transport several times a day to get around in a new city and sometimes I have no idea how to find the suggested bus stop. Also love the ability to add several destinations on the homescreen for instant journey info.

I like the UI and it is amazing if you find yourself somewhere and need to travel "right now" or very near in the future. I would like to see more options for pre-planning for the next day or two into the future. It does what it does very well. If you are in a location and need to get somewhere, fire this up and you'll be on your way shortly. For me, it loses its usefulness because I like to map out my day ahead of time and it doesn't go more than a couple of hours into the future schedule.

The new feature, Transport Nearby, is brilliant but the only draw back (to echo another reviewer) is the lack of the pre-planning option for an future journey. Other than that, it works well and would recommend it to London travellers.

Used this app recently in London - was great, and it has the potential to be useful everywhere as it is not limited to a single city like bing's get me there application - though adding bus routes in Dublin would make it even more useful for me!!!

I live in SF and I love the app. I do have to say that it doubles the same bus time by 1 minute so it looks like 2 buses are coming but I checked out nextmuni.com and its pretty accuate.
