When installing the latest version from the Marketplace via the QR Code or from the link via the phone, I get to the App in the marketplace which states the correct version number of 2.1, but after installation, if you look in About on the app, it says that it is 2.0??
Also, as I had the app on already at 2.0, I had to un-install to "upgrade" (or is this just because it is still really 2.0???)

You are right.
Our initial plan was to release the second beta with the number 2.0.124, but for some reasons we had to use a higher number for the second digit.
We have already fix this in the about.

I also had to remove the old version before I could install the new...when I downloaded the new and tried to install my Lumia 900 said it was already installed.
this does not seem to be solved. The about still says version is 4.01 (4435). So does the installer. Besides, in the Settings there are two fields: Version shows the version a s button which is clickable but useless; and About, which leads to a window which only shows a wrong @ information (@ 2011).
I would love to have the feeling that Nokia cares about its Symbian customers. I like my E7 a lot and I just refused an iPhone I was offered for free -
