I read that if you have 2.0 of the beta app installed, then you will receive an update notification once the app has been propagated to the Marketplaces world-wide.
It ain't so however. Does my carrier perhaps block this? It is T-Mobile Germany but I was able to install 2.0 w/o any issue so I doubt it a bit.

Hi There,
So, if you check in about, what is the version you get there?
If it is 2.0.124 then you have the (here called) 2.1 version, so you won't get any notification.
In any other case, if you had previously installed the 2.0.96 build you should get this update notification.
Please let us know what is your case.
