Nokia Betalabs

recently had to hard reset my Nokia N8 and had to reinstall weather widget and maps ... Now when I click on the weather widget to see the forecast it opens a web page and not the Nokia maps weather app .... is this a bug or is this how the new version performs? ... If so I prefer the previous method .... Is there a way to get it working as before?
