This widget show wrong temperature! In Helsinki current (Sunday, 8.45 PM) temperature is -2.0 °C (Finnish meteorological institute) and -3.0 °C (Foreca weather) but in this weather application -10 °C! It is reliable? :O

the same problem wrong forecast

The same happens with my N8. Please use data from Foreca.

Also the same problem here with my N8 in Munich. Wrong weather data.

Here in Tenerife it's always showing at least 5-6 c below the actual temperature? where does it get it's data from?
Same thing with old weather app, totally useless...style over function :(

The same thing for Bosnia and Herzegovina, showing at least 5 or more degrees less than actual...

in my opinion this is a good app, but it should be more precise! If you take a partnership with a forecast weather site like Ilmeteo.it and you power an app based on their forecast it should be a better app for everyone. Bye!

There is a fundamental bug with the weather widget: It appears to show a forecast of what the weather should be, rather than reporting what the weather actually is.

When I compare the weather reported by the widget to the forecast issued at the start of the day, I see a reasonably good correlation. Of course, that is often completely different to the weather outside.

Knowing what the weather was forecast to be is of little value. I would like to know what the various local weather stations are reporting the weather to be.

I see people mention ForecaWeather – it’s good. At home, the station is within 13 miles, but it can be quite a stretch out in the sticks. For better coverage, I like “Weather Underground”. No app, unfortunately, just a web page. However, their network of stations can get very local, often within a few miles of me.

This trial has ended!
